US Crop Yields does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app works entirely offline.
US Crop Yields displays historical USDA corn and soybean yield data, bundled directly into the app. All of your crop, location, and year selections are processed and stored only on your own device. Nothing you do in the app — including which crops, states, districts, or counties you look at — is ever sent anywhere.
We do not collect:
The app does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software.
The app offers an optional one-time in-app purchase ("Full Access") to unlock additional states. This purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive, see, or store your payment information — that's handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We only receive confirmation from Apple's systems that the purchase was made, which is used solely to unlock the corresponding content on your device.
All yield data is bundled with the app at install time. Your selections (crop, state, district, county, year range) are stored locally on your device only, using standard iOS app storage, and are never transmitted off the device.
This app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
If this policy ever changes (for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that does collect data), we'll update this page and the effective date above, and reflect any material changes in the app's own Info screen.
